Class & Camp Cancellation Policy

At A Piece of Cake Academy, we purchase ingredients, supplies, and prepare class materials in advance for every student. Because these items are non-returnable and classes require advance preparation, the following cancellation policy applies to all classes, camps, workshops, and events.

Student Cancellation Policy

Refund Schedule

  • 14+ days before class start date:
    75% refund of tuition paid

  • 7–13 days before class start date:
    50% refund of tuition paid

  • 3–6 days before class start date:
    25% refund of tuition paid

  • 0–2 days before class start date or same-day cancellation/no-show:
    No refund will be issued

Class Credits & Transfers

Students may request:

  • A class credit for future use, or

  • Transfer into another available class or camp

Class credits may be applied to a future class within 6 months of the original class date. Whenever possible, students who miss a class may transfer into the following month’s equivalent class, based on availability.

Credits are non-cash and non-transferable unless approved by management.

Camp & Multi-Day Program Policy

For camps or multi-day classes:

  • Missing individual days does not qualify for partial refunds

  • Makeup sessions are not guaranteed

  • Supplies prepared for enrolled students are non-refundable

Instructor/Business Cancellation Policy

A Piece of Cake Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, combine, or modify any class, camp, or workshop at any time.

If a class is canceled by the business:

  • Students may receive a 75% refund, OR

  • Transfer to another class date, OR

  • Receive a full class credit for future enrollment

A minimum of 3 students is required to hold a class. If minimum enrollment is not met:

  • Students will be transferred to the next available class, OR

  • A class credit will be issued

Weather, Illness & Emergencies

No refunds will be issued for:

  • Illness

  • Family emergencies

  • Schedule conflicts

  • Weather conditions

  • Transportation issues

However, we will make reasonable efforts to offer a class transfer or future class credit whenever possible.

Non-Refundable Fees

Any booking fees, registration fees, supply fees, digital materials, downloadable content, or custom kits are non-refundable.

Agreement to Terms

By registering for a class, camp, workshop, or event, participants acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy.
